A time when many women notice that familiar strategies no longer work in the same way, and that deeper questions begin to surface: about energy, direction, identity, and how they want to live the next chapter.
SophroMidlifeCircle is a circle of intentional transformation - offering structure, continuity, and space to engage consciously with this transition, rather than pushing through it alone.
This is not about fixing, optimising, or explaining.
It is about listening, re-orienting, and choosing how to step forward.

No prior experience with Sophrology or any other energy practice is required.

8 live 2hr online sessions combining short teaching, guided practice, and reflection
A recording of the teaching and main practice from each session, so you can continue exploring and supporting your vitality at home during the week

A Circle of Intentional Transformation
This circle recognises midlife - including (peri)menopause - as a period of recalibration.
Intentional transformation here is not about reinvention or self-improvement
It is about developing the capacity to work with this change - in your body, energy, and orientation - with clarity and steadiness.
Through ongoing practice and reflection, participants develop:
A more reliable relationship with their energy, even as hormonal patterns shift
Greater discernment about what matters, and what no longer does
Increased inner authority and grounded decision-making
A renewed sense of vitality and direction
The circle provides continuity and support for these shifts to consolidate over time, rather than remaining isolated insights.
Facilitation
The circle is facilitated by Anna Cichowska Myrup - public health doctor, sophrologist, and human energy expert.
Anna has extensive experience supporting individuals and organisations through complex transitions.
Her career spans senior roles across clinical healthcare, global heath policy and diplomacy, as well as experience across the private sector.
Her approach bridges evidence-informed health perspectives with embodied, experiential practice, creating a space that is both grounded and spacious.
Questions & Answers
Is this just another online course I’ll forget about?
No. This is a live, experiential course with a small group, guided practices, and recordings designed for repetition and integration. The focus is on direct experience and practical application, rather than information overload. Practices focus on the midlife transition, including menopause.
Do I need prior experience with Sophrology or energy practices?
No. All practices are introduced step by step in a clear and accessible way.
What if I miss a live session?
You will have access to the main practice recording for that week, so you can continue with the course even if you are unable to attend live.
Is this therapy?
No. This is an educational and experiential course focused on awareness, energy regulation, and wellbeing. It can be supportive, but it is not a substitute for therapy or medical care.
How interactive is the group?
Participation is always invitational. You are welcome to share, reflect, or simply listen. The group is intentionally kept small to support safety, trust, and continuity.
What is the 1-to-1 session used for?
The individual session is used to tailor the practices to your situation, address personal questions, and support the integration of what you are learning.
What do I need for each session?
No special equipment or clothing is required. You will need a normal chair with a back, comfortable everyday clothing, and a notebook and pen for reflection and notes.
Do I need to practice at home?
Yes. To gain the most benefit from the course, it is recommended that you practice the main 10–15 minute Sophrology exercise using the audio guide around three times per week. This short, regular practice supports integration into daily life.
